BREWING

We always begin by using a 60g/litre ratio of coffee to water, as this is where we've found most coffees to work well. From there we tend to adjust the parameters based on what we taste in the cup.

FRESHNESS

Coffee freshness often refers to the roast date and time since roasting. Depending on location, we aim to get the coffee with you within one week of roasting at which point we feel that the coffee is entering the stage of degassing where it becomes its best.

GROUND COFFEE

At the moment, we only offer whole bean coffee. This is something we're working on, but can't be solved just yet.

SUBSCRIPTION

Each month, there will be a new coffee delivered to your door and a recurring payment made to your card. If at any time you wish this to stop, please log in to your account to cancel the subscription or reach out to us via the contact form or at hello@specialguestscoffee.com.

DISPATCH & SHIPPING

All our subscriptions are dispatched on the 1st of the month, or the next business day.

Within the UK we used Royal Mail and outside of the UK we use a tracked international service.
